Popeyes Sandwich Return Cause Mayhem

Popeyes is a well known fast-food establishment that brings in billions of dollars a year. Well, this year, to up the anty, they have introduced the world to their new chicken sandwich. However, upon first unveiling the sandwich, they ran out very fast.

People were lining up for them as well as filling their parking lots. The sandwiches were all gone up until a week ago, and sadly, someone has lost their life while waiting for the delectable treat.

According to a source close to Fox News, a man was fatally stabbed while inside a Maryland Popeyes. Unfortunately, the fight was over the now infamous sandwich.

Man Ordering The New Popeyes Chicken Sandwich Dies After Stabbing

Reports from Prince George County police say that a call came of a fight at a Popeyes location in the 6200 blocks of Livingston Road around 7 pm. The city in which the conflict occurred was Oxon Hill. Oxon Hill isn’t too far from Washington, D.C., about 20 minutes away.

Officers made it to the scene and saw a man in the parking lot with multiple stab wounds. According to their statement to Fox News, an ambulance was able to transport him to a local hospital. Unfortunately, he did not survive the stabbing.

As of now, there has not been a release of the victim’s name or age. Also, the suspect remains at large.

Police say that at the time of the murder, detectives were interviewing witnesses and gathering evidence. They were also looking for footage from the surveillance video as a means to establish a motive.

Police in George County is not saying what the fight was about. Reports from FOX 5 indicate that there was an altercation after someone cut in line waiting for the famous sandwich. The sandwich came back into rotation on Sunday.
