Fight Breaks Out During Texas A&M Game

According to LSU officials, a fight broke out after the Tigers and Texas A&M went into overtime seven times and still lost. A man on the sidelines punched a former LSU coach.

A spokesperson for the school released a statement stating that a man in a red shirt punched Steve Kragthorpe, a former LSU offensive coordinator. Kragthorpe has Parkinson’s Disease and is expected to be fine.

LSU coaches were able to react fast after the punch. One person quick to their feet was Kevin Faulk, the director of player personnel.
There are videos of the scuffle circling social media. The game was the longest tie in FBS history. Both teams were playing for five hours.

According to reports from The Advocates, Dameyune Craig was a part of the fight. He is currently the Texas A&M receiver coach; however, he used to coach the receivers at LSU.

Also, that he was challenging them to a fight.

According to reports from the Dallas Morning News, the A&M staffer who threw the first punch came over looking for Jimbo Fisher, a Texas A&M coach after the game. However, Fisher says that he doesn’t have any information when it comes to the fight.

Texas A&M was able to home the win 74-72 after a two-point conversion play during the final overtime. LSU were the ones to score for the first overtime. However, they missed the conversion after its touchdown. Rules say that reams have to go for two touchdowns beginning at the third overtime.
