Tekashi 6ix9ine is a platinum-selling rapper who has been able to collaborate with many talented artists during his career. Unfortunately, the young rapper was indicted in federal court on Monday on numerous charges. His charges range from drug trafficking to involvement in shootings.
According to prosecutors, Tekashi, as well as five other men whose names are in the indictment, are apart of a gang by the name of Nine Trey Gangstas Bloods. Tekashi, real name Daniel Hernandez has six counts against him. If there is a conviction, Hernandez could face anywhere between three years to life in prison.
However, there are three specific incidents in the indictment. On April 3, Hernandez along with members of the Nine Trey gang allegedly robbed a man at gunpoint.
On April 21, Fuguan Lovick, one of the other men in the indictment, is receiving accusations of shooting at a man inside Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Finally, prosecutors allege that an incent bystander was shot by members of the gang when they planning on shooting someone else who they thought were being disrespectful.

Tekashi 6ix9ine quickly became famous in the hip-hop world after debuting his first commercial single, “Gummo” November of 2017. The song was able to go platinum. The past February his mixtape Day69 was able to debut at No. 4 on the Billboard album charts. In October, Hernandez received four years of probation after pleading guilty to a case from 2015. The case alleges that he was a part of a sexually explicit video with a minor. It doesn’t stop there. On Wednesday of last week, Hernandez was back in court against pleading guilty to the assault of a police officer while in Brooklyn.
