On Tuesday night, police were in the Hollywood Hills in response to a burglary call the home of the singer Rihanna.
The call came in about the burglary at around 9:30 p.m. As the officers were checking her him, alarms and lights were going off.
So far, police have been mute on what was taken, if anything at all. However, surveillance from the home was able to help the police locate the three suspects in the footage. Though they were able to capture footage of the car, there is no description of the vehicle available. Currently, they are on the search for the suspects.
As of now, representatives of Rihanna are not commenting on the burglary
However, the Grammy-winning singer does know of the incident.
Paparrazi were able to capture images of the singer’s reps shaking hands and hugging LAPD officers. They were there for almost eight hours at her 7 million dollar home that is a block north of Hollywood Boulevard.
This isn’t a first for Rihanna. In May, a burglary occurred at her home as well. After breaking in, and remaining in her home for 12 hours, a stalker was arrested after being discovered the following day by Rih Rih’s assistant. Fortunately, no one was at home during the break-in, and there was minor damage. One many who was there to help board up her property says that the suspects shattered a rear glass door so that they could get inside.
One neighbor, Tom Becktold, says that the neighborhood is usually quiet. He also says that after Rihanna bought the house last summer, he has only seen her one time.
Beckford goes on to tell reporters that he feels bad that someone is targeting the star’s home.
This upcoming weekend, Rihanna will be in Dubai to attend an event for her Fenty beauty line.
