Brian Christopher, A former World Wrestling Entertainment wrestler, passed away on Sunday. The cause of death was due to him hanging himself in a Memphis, Tennessee jail. The 46-year-old wrestler was surrounded by his family while on life support during his passing.
According to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, Brian Christoper, real name Brian Lawler, was brought to Regional One Medical Center In Memphis on Sunday where he passed away.
The WWE sent out a statement of their condolences on the matter. In their report, they say that they as a whole are very sad to hear of the passing of Brian Christopher Lawler. Also, that the extend their condolences to his family, friends, and fans.
Why was Brian Christopher in jail?
Reports from TMZ claim that on July 7, Lawlers was under arresr for a DUI and evading police officers in Tennessee. Also, inside of his vehicle was a 12-ounce can of alcohol that was open.

Christopher’s stage name was Grandmaster Sexay. However, he was on half of the tag team Too Cool with longtime friend Scotty 2 Hotty. Not too long after, the duo added Rikishi to the mix becoming a trip. After matches, the trip would do a hip-hop inspired choreographed dance routine.
So far, Brian Christopher is one of three deaths in the world of wrestling on Sunday.
Nikolai Volkoff(real name Josip Nikolai Peruzović) WWE Hall of Fame wrestler passed away at the age of 70. According to the WWE, Volkoff was a Russian who played a villain while on stage. In 2005, after a 45+ year wrestling career, the WWE was sure to induct him to their hall of fame.
Brickhouse Brown (real name Fredrick Seawright) sadly died this Sunday as well from cancer at the age of 57.
