On the evening of September 27th, 2017 celebrity Hugh Hefner died in his California home. Hugh Hefner was ninety-one at the time of his death. He was the founder of Playboy that began in 1953 with only a little over six-hundred dollars in his pocket. Starting off his well-known Playboy brand, he struggled a lot. Now it is a multimillion-dollar entertainment empire when he peaked in the 70s. Playboy went viral from jazz festivals, Playboy Clubs, TV shows, Movie and Playboy magazines worldwide. Even in some restaurants, beautiful young waitresses would wear their signature shirts with bunny ears while servicing customers.
Hugh Hefner Leaves Behind Huge Legacy
Over the years in the adult entertainment field, people knew him for wearing his red silk robe. Also, with a couple of women by his side. Hugh Hefner has employed hundreds of women into his Playboy brand and has even dated some of his playmates. He even married some of them which then turned into a reality TV series called Hef’s Playmates, where most of them were less than a third his age at the time. After going viral for quite some time, critics were dismissive of anything else he could offer. Although, many men around the world have envied his lifestyle with constant beautiful women surrounding Mr. PlayBoy himself Hugh Hefner.
His PlayBoy magazines did very well in the 1950s through the 1960s. Also, to this day his magazines are remain legendary. They continue to open more doors for other adult entertainment companies. Before his passing, in an interview with CNN newscast, he said he was a young man with a big dream and it come true. In the interview, he discusses how he was able to change the world in a small but positive way. and he is happy with what he was able to start in his time.
