After losing to the champ, it’s looking as though Conor McGregor is ready to jump back into the octagon. The Irishman plans to get back on the back as soon as tomorrow. He was given a two-month suspension after losing badly to Floyd Mayweather last weekend.
Now that all the excitement for the fight is over, people are wondering who Conor is going to fight next.
Connor became a welterweight, and Rafael Dos chose to drop out the fight. That made his previous opponent Nate Dias excited to take the spot.
Nate Diaz gave Connor a rematch, and was able to serve vengeance.
Ever since their last fight, Diaz has been looking forward to another round with Mcgregor.
Diaz has been on the sideline waiting for McGregor to make his comeback to the UFC. He says that whe will not fight until he can fight Conor again.
Well, it’s looking as though the two will meet again at least.
In order for the fight to actually happen, Diaz will have to gain a significant amount weight. When first were up against each other, both of their weight was 170lbs. Now, McGregor weighs 155lbs.
Conor told reporters that the agreement between the two fighters was that they would both weigh the same.
During the Mayweather-McGregor fight, Diaz and from UFC champ Brendan Schaub was talking trash.
Meanwhile, Diaz has been caught in a backstage trash-talking match with former UFC heavyweight Brendan Schaub at the Mayweather-McGregor fight.
Schaub tried to offer Diaz advice while they were back stage.
He told reporters the McGregor should be happy that he won a round against the best there is.
According to Diaz, McGregor only gave Mayweather one good round for his money.
Spectators are looking forward to McGregor and Diaz going toe to toe in the octagon again. They expect the fight to break records.
