People are more anxious now than ever as world-renowned pop sensation Britney Spears get’s set to play a show in Israel. Britney has never played a show in Israel, thus increasing the excitement. Her show will be at the Hayarkon Park, in Tel Aviv on July 3.
Born in a residential community in Louisiana, Spears started her ascent to stardom at age ten on The Mickey Mouse Club TV show. Others on the show were future beau Justin Timberlake and future rival, Christina Aguilera. 1999 was a big year for Britney. It was the year she came into the limelight. Her first big hit was Baby One More Time, which was also the title of her album.
Spears went on to please the people with smash hits such as Oops!… I Did It Again, and You Drive Me Crazy.
As time went on, she changed her style from cutesy and clean, to flirtatious and raunchy. She would go on to adorn pythons on her shoulders all the way to kissing Madonna at the 2003 MTV awards.
But fame hit the superstar hard, and it played out in front of everyone. We saw her doomed 2004 marriage with dancer/artist Kevin Federline which generated a reality television show. She spent many nights with starlet Paris Hilton. Spears also had a one-day stay at rehab.
Spears Gives The People What They Want
Britney got her head back on straight and began giving the people what they wanted again in 2008. She was able to release her album, Circus, that year. Her top hit from the record was “Womanizer”. Grasping parenthood (to her two children with Federline, she showed up for two seasons as a generously compensated judge on the US variant of The X Factor. Later hits have included “Hold It Against Me” and “Criminal.”
In 2013 Spears started a four-year residency appearance Britney: Piece of Me, at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. This past March, she declared that the show would be performed abroad as a world tour, Britney: Live in Concert. During the tour, she also plans to visit Japan and the Philippines.
